  • LMCP students bags 5 gold medals at 7th GTU Convocation

  • LMCP granted Student Startup & Innovation Center by Govt. of Gujarat.

  • LMCP becomes the first pharmacy institute of the country to establish ATAL INCUBATION CENTRE with grants up to 10 crores over 5 years from NITI AAYOG's ATAL INNOVATION MISSION

  • Bhavini Shah and Fazila Khanjara received Best Poster Presentation Awards for Vascular protective effect of regulator of G-protein signaling-2 (RGS2) against in diabetic cardiovascular complication and Role of Heat Shock Proteins (HSP) in Diabetes, in DIACON 2016, a National Conference organized at Ahmedabad by Diacare Medilink in December 2016.

  • Yash Mehta (B.Pharm. Sem.-3) received 2nd Prize in Essay Writing Competition and Dhruv Shah (B.Pharm, Sem.3) received 3rd prize in skit Competition, at Gujarat State NSS Day celebration, organized by Gujarat Technology University, hosted by Sardar Patel University, Vidhyanagar in September 2016.

  • Three students of M.Pharm. received Gold Medals from Gujarat Technology University (GTU) for securing top ranks in 2016.

  • Priyanka Badlani & Himika Gandhi (B.Pharm, Sem. – 50 received honorable mention for participation in category-II of All India Essay writing Event-2016, organized by Shri Ram Chandra Mission & United Nations Information Centre for India & Bhautan.

  • Six students of B.Pharm. Semester-7 were sent to Canada under 5th consecutive International Experience Programme (IEP) initiated by GTU. They were enrolled in Laurentian University, Sudbury, Canada for courses on Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology.

  • Raina Priya (M.Pharm. SEM-III) bagged first position in the State Round of Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) sponsoreed IPA-Devinder Pal National Elocution Competition on the topic Pharmacists for a Healthy India held in Oct. 2016 at L.M. College of Pharmacy

  • Dr. Parloop Bhatt was nominated as an Executive Committee Member in Indian Pharmacological Society and Indian Pharmacological Society-Gujarat Chapter in 2016

  • Dr. Gaurang Shah was elected the President of Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Gujarat State Branch in November 2016.

  • Dr. Anita Mehta continues to offer her services as the Dean of GTU since 2012 and as joint secretory, Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) Gujarat State branch
